Defiance Commercial Safes

Tested to JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard) 2 hour fire rating to 1000 Degrees Celcius for paper. Available in either electronic or combination, both with key deadlocking. Fitted with a lockable drawer and adjustable shelving, removable if required. Strong 3-way locking with hinge removal protection. Defiance Data and Media Fire Resisting Cabinet

Specifically designed to protect magnetic media including data discs, tapes, CD’s and will also protect irreplaceable film negatives. Fitted with an anti-thermal box designed to block out heat, smoke, dust and steam and will also keep the temperature below 52? C. 60 minutes, and are tested in accordance with SP (Swedish National Testing and Research Institute).

Defiance Fire Resistant Filing Cabinet

Our filing safes are UL 1 Hour Fire rated!

The filing safe range feature either an Electronic keypad or 3 wheel changeable combination lock to top drawer only, the key lock is added for additional security with all other drawers have individual drawer locks with individual key numbers, which ideally suits up to four separate uses of the safe.

There is also a drawer lock controller fitted to the top draw, this means that if the combination lock is open but the top drawer is not unlocked the rest of the drawers cannot be opened.
The drawers are able to accommodate a standard suspension file, and each drawer has 2 dividers as standard. Each drawer is fitted with load bearing-runners and tracks, for long life and ease of use.

These units are tested to UL Standards which gives the filing safe 1 hour fire rating at 1000 deg.C. The filing safes are probably the best deal you could get as you not buying one safe you are buying up to 4 safes as the locking system is fitted so you can control each drawer individually and each drawer has an individual key number.

However these filing safes are not able to be bolted to the floor as they are manufactured and supplied with wheels that run parallel with the side or depth of the unit and cannot be removed. Fire resisting filing cabinets are not designed to be burglar proof, but do offer a higher degree of protection against attack over standard filing cabinets.

Fire Resisting Security Filing Cabinets

BODY: Total thickness 70mm. The safe body features a highly efficient fire-resistant mineral compound of extremely low heat conductivity between inner and outer walls of specially reinforced steel. A sealed expanding gasket is fitted around the entire door perimeter to resist entry of heat, smoke and water.

DOOR: Total thickness 90mm. The safes have a heavy steel plate door and frame for maximum strength, with an insulation chamber fitted to the rear. Front and rear locking bolts of 25mm diameter high grade steel provide 2-way locking into the specially strengthened lock chamber sections at front and rear edges of the door. Special hinges allow the door to turn through 270º to remain parallel with the side of the safe when required. Hardened steel section and re-locking devices are provided within the door.

LOCKING: All models are provided with both a six lever pick resisting keylock and a high quality changeable three wheel combination lock. A digital lock is available at an additional charge.

INTERNAL FITTINGS: Supplied complete with a filing cabinet of appropriate size. Optionally, may be supplied with a smaller filing cabinet and some adjustable shelves.

FINISH: Painted in attractive durable enamel. Satin finish handles, locks and fascia panel complement the high quality appearance.

Recordsafe Theft And Fire Resisting

LOCKING: All models are provided with both a six lever pick resisting keylock and a high quality changeable three wheel combination lock. A digital lock is available at an additional charge.

INTERNAL FITTINGS: Models RP60, DD60 and DD72 are provided with five adjustable shelves (adjustable to any 12mm interval) while models RP42 and RP42S have three adjustable shelves.

FINISH: CMI Record Safes are supplied with an attractive durable enamel finish. Satin finish handles, locks and fascia panel complement the high quality appearance.
