The safe’s laser-cut door ensures an exact fit and minimal tolerance against prying attacks. A rear dog bar reinforces door security even if the hinges are targeted—providing uninterrupted protection in high-risk environments. The front edge reinforcement with a steel bar around the body adds another critical layer of strength, making this safe exceptionally durable against tampering, cutting, or prying.
What sets the Secuguard SD1K apart is its internal locking sophistication. Featuring 4 x 25mm thick solid steel locking bolts, a torque-limiting clutch handle, and a UL-listed SecuRam swing bolt electronic lock, this safe is built to resist sophisticated intrusion attempts. The lock itself is mounted on a hardened steel plate and backed by a secondary re-locking device, offering an extra line of defense if tampering is detected.
The lock system is not only secure but also functional. You can program both a management code and a user code, enabling controlled access for multiple users. For added safety, the lock includes an errant access lockout feature that disables the keypad after a certain number of failed attempts. Powered by a standard 9V alkaline battery located outside the safe on the metal keypad housing, battery replacement is simple and quick—no need to open the safe during low-power situations.
