Description
This 4ft Chubb Banker Safe is a refurbished, commercial-grade security safe built to the banking industry’s TDR (Torch and Drill Resistant) standard. Chubb has manufactured high-security safes for over 200 years, and the Banker Safe range was designed specifically for protecting large quantities of cash, jewellery, and sensitive documents in banking and institutional environments.
The safe features a TDR composite body and door — steel outer walls bonded with anti-penetration barrier material — designed to resist oxy-acetylene torches, high-speed drills, explosives, and forced entry tools. A multi-bolt locking system driven by a combination lock secures the door, with additional anti-tamper and glass-operated relocking mechanisms that keep bolts engaged under attack.
At approximately 791 kg, the unit’s mass alone provides significant resistance to removal. The internal cavity (762 × 457 × 432 mm) houses two shelves for organised cash tray and document storage. Suitable for banking, retail, commercial offices, and institutional environments.
